[HAWISE . Complete Peerage identifies the wife of Robert de Ferrers Earl of Derby as the daughter of André de Vitry & his wife but cites no supporting evidence. According to Domesday Descendants, "there is no convincing evidence as to her identity".

He [Robert de Ferrieres] married Hawise, daughter of André, Seigneur de Vitré in Brittany, by Agnes, daughter of Robert, Count of Mortain. He died in 1139.
