There are three ways of exploring our ancestors.

On each family page either click on "Ancestors of..." to browse up, down or across their pedigree, or click on "Index of ancestors by surname" if you know the name of the person to whom you want to jump directly.

The third method is to use the search box below. Not only can you search for a person's name but any other information on the individuals' pages, for example, a place name or a date.

The search supports:
- Use of AND, OR and phrases (between inverted commas)
- Exclusion of words by putting a '-' in front of a word
- Word stemming: searching for "run" finds "running", "runs", etc.
