  Research Notes:

Possible baptisms:
- 31 May 1784 in Bloxwich (Walsall) to William and Sarah
- 15 Mar 1785 in Bilston to John and Anne

No proof that Mary was the daughter of John and Anne but considered highly likely that Mary was from Bilston because:
- Thomas's parents had moved to Bilston by 1796
- No marriages took place in Bilston - all were held at St. Peter's in Wolverhampton
- Thomas and Mary had their first four children baptised/buried in Bilston.

Burial of Mary Banks (born about 1785) on 17 May 1833 in Bilston:
- Possibility that she was the daughter of John and Anne
- She was not the wife of George (married before 1798) or Samuel (married 7 Jan 1799)
- May have been the wife of Peter (married before 1811).
