Probable burial (on basis of same parish as wedding) states aged 59 implies he was born about 1763-64. Possible birth (baptism) dates:
- 11 Jul (6 Aug) 1764, St. Mary Magdalen, Old Fish Street, parents: Joseph and Mary Sarah
- 15 Jul (19 Aug) 1764, St. Marylebone; parents: Mathew and Catherine
- ? (13 Dec) 1764, St. Mary Aldermary, parents: William and Lydia

Unlikely baptism dates:
- 14 Jan 1759, St Luke, Old Street, parents: William and Mary
- 9 Aug 1761, St Andrew, Holborn, parents: Joseph and Sarah

2. Children
Note that there were three other men named William Waterhouse living in the same area (see below). It is therefore possible that I have confused some of our ancestors' children or grandchildren with the other families.

William (buried 1822, St. Botolph, Bishopsgate) and Elisabeth had children baptised and buried at St. Leonard's Church:

- Mary Ann, 1799 (died 1800)

William and Mary had children baptised at St. Luke's Church:

2.3 Blackfriars area
William and Elizabeth Yardley were married on 16 Apr 1798 at St. Andrew-by-the-Wardrobe and had children baptised:
