Jarvis was almost certainly her maiden name because the marriage was by banns and did not state that she was a widow.

Birthplace was given as Mitcham in 1851 and 1861 Censuses. Beddington was part of Mitcham at the time.

Age at death given as 80.

Possible but unlikely baptisms:
- 13 Jul 1777 in Cheam to parents Samuel and Ann; unlikely because of date and location
- 10 Dec 1780 in Godstone to parents Thomas and Sarah; unlikely because of location
