day of June one thousand five hundred nintie nine I Nicholas Reade of Spelhurst
in the parrishe and Countie of Kent beinge sicke in bodie but in good and [perfecte] remembrance
thanks be to Almighthie god Doe make this my present Testament and last will in manner
and fourme following ffirst I bequeath my Soule to Almighthie god my creator and
maker and […] and Saviour and my bodie to be buried in the christian buriall of
the churche yarde of Spelhurst aforesaide Item I give and bequeath unto the poore
of the parrishe twentie shillings to be given at my buriall by my Executrix and [tenne]
shillings to the reparions of the church Item I will and bequeath unto all my god-
children two ewes apiece I give and bequeath to [Alic] Archpoole my Aunte my
graie nagg I bequeath unto Thomas Medhurste the younger and the elder Edward
