Will, 10 Oct 1613, Westfield, Hastings, East Sussex, TN35, GB. 2 In the name of god Amen the xth day of octob[e]r in the elevent yeare of the raine of our Soferain{e} Lord James of England France and Ireland King [word deleted] and of Scotland the 4{6} and in the nowe yeare of our Lord 161{3} I George Brecher of Westf{ie}l{d} in the countie of Susix husban man being Sick of bod{ie} But of good rememberan{c} thankes be to god thearfore doo minde to make this my last will and testament first I give my sow{l}le to god which gave It me and my bodi to be beried in the Church yarde of wesfelld Itm I doo give to my to Sonns thomas brecher and Jeremy brecher fiftenn pound apeace & the same thirte pound to be paid to Roberd {Row} within one yeare after my deses and Roberd {Row} to pay it to eth[{er} of them at the age of 18 yeares with the profit he maketh of It and if any of my to sones di before the age of 18 yeares my will is that one shall be anothers ayer and If they di both before the yeares above mensoned then this money to be payd back again to my {accx}tor all the rest and residu of my goodes and choteles I do give and be quaith to Margerie Brecher my wif w{a}ome I do o{ar}dain and make my holl {accx}tor paying detes and I do apynte Roberd {Rowe} and Jeremy Brecher my b{ro}ther to be my over seers of this my last and testement [sic] in witnes whear of I have set to my hand and seall
