• Will, 9 Oct 1588. 1 In the name of God amen: The ninth daye of October 1588 I Henry Plumer of the p[ar]ishe of Saincte Michells in the towne of Lewes Sadler beinge sicke in bodye but whole in mynde and of a good and p[er]fecte memorye doe make my last will & Testamentt in ma[n]ner and forme Followinge: First I bequeath my soule to Almightye god beinge assured to be Redeemed by the precious bloud of my Lorde and Savio[u]r Jesus Christe And my bodye be buryed in the Churchyarde of St. Michell beinge the usiall place of buriall Item I geve unto my wife Julian Plumer my best Fetherbed & all things belonginge unto yt Allsoe I geve unto her iiij payre of the best Sheetes yt I have Item I give more unto my wiffe Julian Plumer tenne quarters of malt Allsoe I give unto my said wiffe one silver spoone Item I give unto Harrye Plommer the sonne of James Plomer of Brighthelmeston one Fetherbed and all things p[er]tayninge unto the same Alsoe to the said Harrye Plomer two paire of sheetes Item I give unto him iij Silver spoones Allsoe I give unto the said Harrye Plumer one Cuppberd standinge in the parlour and a great longe chest standinge in the …. ……..
