Arundel, 9 April 37 Eliz. Died 16 Dec. last.
Heir, son William Goring, aged 50 and more.
Lands - William Goring, knt., father of H. G., was seized of manors of Burton and Barlavington, etc., and on 29 June 1 Edw. VI. settled on himself, then on Lady Elizabeth his wife, then on Henry his son and heir and his heirs male, remainder to George Goring his 2nd son heirs male, remainder to Robert G. 3rd son, remainder right heirs of William G. knt. William died first, then Elizabeth, then Henry, leaving issue William Goring, esq., his eldest son, and Edward G., his younger son. H. G. also seized of manors of Balneth and Nytimber, Hardam alias Heringham. He made will 14 Dec. 1594 - left to William his son and heir and heirs male, then to cosen George Gorynge, then to right heirs - to son Edward manor of Howicks in Kerdford and lands in Shipley, Angmering, Restington, and Pulborough - George Gorynge, 2nd son of my son William G. - Henry, son of my son William G. - Henry G., son of my son Edward G. - Edward G., 2nd son of my son Edward G.

Edward married Elizabeth Wiseman, daughter of Thomas Wiseman and Unknown, about 1580. (Elizabeth Wiseman died before 7 Sep 1593 and was buried on 7 Sep 1593 in St. Mary's Church, East Street/High Street, Billingshurst, West Sussex, RH14 9PY, GB.)
