Horstede. The manor, including 20a. arable in the Weald of Sussex, with its members Iteforde and Selmeston (extents given), held of Lady Philippa, queen of England, as of the castle of Pevenese, by service of three little fees of Mortain, and rendering 20s. yearly for the ward of the said castle.
Bradeherst. The manor (extent given) held jointly with Sibyl his wife, to them and the heirs of the said Thomas, of the gift of Henry de Leukenore, by fine levied in the king's court, of John de Wakeherst by service of rendering to him 21s. 6d. yearly.
Roger his son, aged 32 years and more, is his next heir.
MIDDLESEX. Inq. 24 March, 10 Edward III.
Suthmymmes. The manor (extent given) held jointly with Sibyl his wife, who still survives, of the gift of John Dabernon to them and the heirs of the said Thomas, of the earl of Hereford (Herford), by service of doing suit at his court twice a year, viz.- once at Whitechapel (ad Albam Capellam), and once at Herteford.
