The Red Book of the Exchequer, in 1190/91, records knights´ fees of "Walterus de Aencurt xvii l, X s – xxxv milites" in Lincolnshire. The precise parentage of Walter has not been ascertained. From a chronological point of view, he could have been another son of Walter [II].]
