OSBEORN (-killed in battle 27 Jul 1054). The primary source which confirms his name has not yet been identified. He was killed fighting King Macbeth of Scotland with his father. Florence of Worcester records that "dux Northhymbrorum Siwardus" defeated "rege Scottorum Macbeotha" in battle, dated to 1054, but that "suus filius" was killed in the battle. ¹
