Hildegarde de Château-Landon
General Notes: [HILDEGARDE] de Château-Landon (-after 1060). The Historia of Monk Aimon records the marriage of "Joscelinum de Cortinaco" and "filiam comitis Gaufridi Foerole" by whom he had one daughter. She is named in Burke´s Peerage but the primary source on which this is based has not yet been identified. It may represent a misinterpretation of the the genealogy quoted above which refers to "Hildegardis, de altero patre...". Hildegarde married Joscelin de Courtenay Seigneur de Courtenay, son of Athon Châtelain de Châteaurenard and Unknown, about 1060.1 (Joscelin de Courtenay Seigneur de Courtenay was born about 1034 1 and died after 1065 1.) |
