The Annals of Tigernach (Continuation) record that "the son of Murchad, son of Diarmait, son of Máel na mbó" won a battle in 1114. The Annals of Tigernach (Continuation) record that "Donnchad son of Murchad king of Leinster" was killed in battle by "Domnall son of Murchertach Húa Bríáin" in 1115.
